Fantastic island getaway. Great vistas and island ambience. Fantastic staff, from hotel reception to bartenders to general manager. One of the best places for rest, relaxation and intimate time. Eateries and Bars offer a great variance in style and ambience. Highly recommend if you want an island getaway with day-to-day pleasures in a safe environment with enough options to keep you busy or enough places to just relax.

Just returned from Galley Bay for the second time after a gap of seven years. I read some of the more negative reviews on this site with disbelief. This resort is quiet, that's why we choose it and food was both delicious, plentiful and varied. We stayed in the infamous room seven and yes you can hear the sea, isn't that the point? Living in central London, swapping the usual urban noises to the crashing waves of the sea, was great...
